How TopLordsRank's data works
Where each number comes from, how fresh it is, and what it does not cover.
1.Where the data comes from
TopLordsRank reads the world map of each scanned Top Lordsserver, including every player base on it, together with the game's public alliance profiles and its in-game leaderboards. Nothing is used that the game does not show to players, and no private data is stored.
Players are identified on this site by a public address of twelve characters that is derived from, but does not reveal, the game's player ID. Base coordinates are not published.
2.Freshness
The rankings are rebuilt every hour from the latest scan data. The servers are scanned in rotation, not all at once, so not every server is equally fresh: each server is normally rescanned at least every six hours. Every server, player and alliance page shows when its data was last updated.
In the current data the map scans range from 2026-09-27 04:42 UTC to 2026-09-27 09:46 UTC. When two servers are compared, one of them may be several hours older than the other.
3.Coverage
The current data covers 64 servers, 1,205,734 players and 10,412 alliances. Only scanned servers have rankings. A server that has not been scanned yet has no page with rankings, and none is estimated for it.
Players whose base stands on another server's map are listed under their own server. If their own server has not been scanned, they appear in the global rankings marked with an asterisk (for example #24*), but they get no server rank.
4.Official and counted figures
officialfigures are reported by the game: an alliance's power, member count, leader and country come from its in-game profile. The game publishes alliance kills only for the top 50 alliances of each server top 50; other alliances have no official kills value on this site.
countedfigures are added up by us from the player bases seen on the map scan: the power and number of bases carrying an alliance's tag, the sum of their kills, and the strongest player among them. They are useful for comparison, but they are notthe game's numbers, and the site never shows them in place of an official value.
- Official alliance power is on median 2.6% higher than the power counted on the map (10,280 alliances with both values, largest gap 66.5%). For 377 of them the counted value is higher.
- The counted number of member bases equals the official member count for 10,266 of 10,280 alliances.
- The strongest player seen in an alliance is its official leader in only 5,962 of 10,280alliances. That is why the site labels it “strongest player seen, not necessarily the leader”.
- The summed lifetime kills of today's members are higher than the official alliance kills for 3201 of 3710alliances that have both. The two are different quantities: the official figure appears to count only kills made while in the alliance. The counted sum is therefore shown separately as “member kills” and is never used to fill in missing official kills.
5.Hero power: top 200 per server
top 200 The game publishes a player's total hero power (THP) only in each server's hero power leaderboard, which lists the top 200 players of that server. For everyone else no hero power is available, and the site shows “–”, which means “not published”, not zero.
The hero power ranking is therefore the union of the top-200 lists of all scanned servers, not a ranking of every player. A player missing from it is outside their server's top 200. Of the 12,800 places in the 64 lists, 12,799 players were also found on the scanned maps and have a profile here.
6.Server Strength Index
The Server Strength Index on server pages and in the server ranking is calculated from two components per server:
- A: the official power of the server's ten strongest alliances, added up.
- B: the hero power of the server's hundred strongest players, added up, taken from the top-200 hero power list.
Each component is turned into a percentile: the share of the other servers with a lower value, from 0 for the lowest to 100 for the highest; equal values get the same percentile. The index is the average of the two percentiles, rounded to a whole number. The ranking orders servers by the unrounded average, ties by B.
The percentiles are taken among the servers in the current data (64 today), not among all Top Lords servers. With few servers the scale is coarse — one place is 1.6 percentile points— and a server's index can change when servers are added, even if the server itself has not changed. A server without both components gets no index rather than an estimated one.
Worked example (server 30, map scan 2026-09-27 06:42 UTC, current values on its server page): A = 11,250,313,837, and 30 of the other 63 servers have a lower A, so the A percentile is 100 × 30 / 63 = 47.6. B = 1,262,648,517, and 33 servers have a lower B, so the B percentile is 100 × 33 / 63 = 52.4. The average is (47.6 + 52.4) / 2 = 50.00, rounded to an index of 50, rank 32 of 64.
Limits, stated plainly: older servers are generally stronger, so the index follows server age; it uses the top ten alliances and the top hundred players, not every account; and the servers were scanned at different times, so a comparison can mix a fresh scan with one that is hours old. Wherever the index is shown, both components are shown with it, so every value can be checked.
7.History and movements
TopLordsRank records its own history from its first import onward (2026-09-27; 10 imports so far). For every player it keeps one value per day of power, kills and hero power, and only when a value changed. There is no history from before the first import, and none is reconstructed.
The joins and leaves on an alliance page come from comparing a player in two consecutive map scans of their server: when the same player is on the map in both scans and their alliance changed, it counts as a leave from the old alliance and a join to the new one. A player who newly appears on the map is not counted as a join, and a player who disappears is not counted as a leave, because their base may simply have been on a map that was not scanned. The same rule applies to the biggest power gains: only players with a recorded value at the start and at the end count.
